Post to Awakening Albion, 5 Abbots Close, Aylsham, Norwich NR11 6HQ.
We would prefer a commitment of at least a week, and of course you are welcome to join for longer.

Those wishing to walk for less than a week are welcome to apply, but should understand that priority will be given to longer term walkers in terms of camp site space and luggage carrying. Thus short term walkers may need to arrange these details themselves. In practice, this may vary from one stretch to another. Feel free to make enquiries.

• Children will be welcome if they are able to walk the distances involved. They will be the responsibility of the accompanying adult.

• No dogs, no drugs.

• You may wish to seek sponsorship for a charity.

We will be able to let people know if they have a place on the Walk as soon as we can.

Cost

We aim to keep the costs of the Walk to a minimum, so that it is as affordable and inclusive as possible. We ask for a (non-returnable) registration fee of £20, once you have been accepted, which goes towards the organisational and administrative costs of setting up the Walk.

For the Walk itself, we ask for £10 (+£1) - £20 (+£1) per day, self-selected according to income. During the Walk, there will be ongoing expenses that need to be met. These include the cost of food, firewood, campsite fees, vehicle running costs and insurance. We also wish to build up a contingency fund to cover any unknown emergencies. £10(+£1) per day is the basic discount rate. For those who can afford more, we appreciate it, and are grateful.

We request prompt payment of the £20 registration fee once you have received notification that you have been accepted for the Walk. The balance should be sent by March 31st. Please talk to us if that is a problem. Refunds will only be given if your place can be filled.

The extra £1 is a tithe, which will go to charity. Our chosen charities are CPRE (The Campaign to Protect Rural England) and Common Ground, a charity which supports work to link the arts and the environment.
